What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Installation Foreman position at BSA Service Corp?
The Landscape Foreman is responsible for leading and managing a field crew to safely and efficiently complete landscape installation and/or maintenance projects
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional landscape experience; prior foreman/lead experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of horticultural practices and plant identification (or willingness to learn)
- Strong verbal communication skills with crew, clients, and supervisors
- Time management skills and ability to plan the crew’s day efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch, and perform strenuous physical tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record (CDL a plus but not required)
Work Conditions
- Frequent use of hand tools, power tools, and small engine equipment
- Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Requires good manual dexterity and excellent stamina
- Regular work around heavy equipment and vehicles
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions, including heat, humidity, cold, rain, dust, and noise
- Flexible working hours, including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends (e.g., snow removal or special projects)
