Key Responsibilities
Pre-Construction
- Participate in planning meetings with the Project Manager and Quality Control team.
- Review and analyze plans, specifications, and project documentation to identify risks and opportunities.
- Assist in developing project schedules, work plans, logistics plans, and safety programs.
- Coordinate scope reviews and support subcontractor alignment.
Construction Phase
- Lead site operations and supervise subcontractors and self-perform crews.
- Conduct daily site safety orientations and weekly safety meetings.
- Maintain daily reports, production logs, and safety inspection records.
- Monitor jobsite productivity, quality, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Coordinate work sequencing and enforce schedule milestones.
- Track delays, change orders, labor, materials, and equipment use.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams.
Post-Construction
- Support punch list completion and project closeout activities.
- Attend final inspections and turnover meetings.
- Ensure the jobsite is returned to the owner in excellent condition.
- Participate in post-project reviews and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and field operations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and documentation accuracy.
Certifications (Required / Preferred)
- OSHA 30-Hour
- EM 385-1-1 (40-Hour)
- USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM)
- HAZWOPER (40-Hour)
- First Aid / CPR
- Bloodborne Pathogen Training
- Environmental Compliance (ECATTS)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
