- Provide and document examinations and evaluations
- Establish functional PT diagnosis, prognoses and plans of care
- Formulate treatment goals
- Provide physical therapy intervention to patients
- Measure and report outcomes
- Formulate and carry out discharge plans
- Supervise licensed and non-licensed assigned staff or students
- Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals
- Individuals must comply with the Texas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules
Job Requirements
- Baccalaureate, Master, or Doctorate Degree of Physical Therapy.
- Current Texas Licensure to practice Physical Therapy.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Physical Therapy experience in an acute care hospital and/or rehabilitation facility with participation in a multi-disciplinary team.
