• The Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the Director with the overall leadership responsibilities of the department in accordance with established nursing standards, philosophy and BSA mission/vision.
• The Nurse Manager serves as a vital link between management and the clinical staff as well as strives to achieve efficient, safe, and cost-effective patient care.

Job Requirements:

• High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• BSN 

• Current License as RN in the State of Texas.

• ACLS certified by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Previous acute care experience with Med Surg or Cardiology
• Previous Management/Leadership experience in an acute care setting
