BSA Hospital in beautiful Amarillo, Texas is seeking a full-time inpatient Hospitalist APP (NP or PA) to join the fast growing family of BSA hospitals and clinics.
About the Role
Part of the Clinical Decision Unit
Schedule: 7 on / 7 off - 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Expected patient load: 8-12 daily
Join a team of 36 physicians and 8 APPs
Inpatient Only
EMR: Epic
Assess and treat patients who fit the criteria for shorter hospital stay
Help increase the availability of beds on the floors for patients with Inpatient stays greater than observation days
Responsible for the exam and completion of medical records, diagnosing clinical abnormalities
Ordering diagnostic testing
Educating patients and families
Requirements:
NP/PA Certification
Preferred: AGACNP
