What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rigger position at Bryton Marine Group?
Install all boat components required based off of sales order, work order and/or bill of materials. Installation is done with hand, power and air tools. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Always adhere to the NMMA requirements for certification.
- Measure and install appropriate wiring based on guidelines for colors.
- Install purchased parts and hardware.
- Test for proper installation as required. (i.e. Horn works)
- Use judgment and common sense related to sizing and fitting components
- 10-hour shift, Mon- Thus. Must be available for overtime.
- Must be 18 years old
Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment working with electronics and wiring would be preferred but will consider training the right person. Auto mechanics and people with electrical experience in satellite or stereos do very well in these positions. Pre-employment drug screening and post-offer physical required for employment.
