Experienced Boat Painter

• Reads work order or receives instructions from supervisor regarding painting.
• Cleaning aluminum surfaces for contaminates such as grease and dust.
• Check hull for scratches and/or defects so that they may be corrected.
• Apply masking patterns according to standards.
• Mix required coatings as directed by P-Sheet.
• Apply coating using an HVLP spray gun.
• Use time efficiently to allow for cleaning/maintenance of equipment and shop.
• Ability to repair issues with work such as runs in paint and scratches.
• Follow all required safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of full-time painting experience in: aluminum boat manufacturing, aerospace or heavy equipment. Experience will determine starting wage $23.00- $26.00 per hour.
• The ability to consistently meet quality standards.
• Candidates must be able to pass a post-employment physical test and drug screening
