Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Buyer to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. This role is critical to ensuring the timely delivery of materials and components that support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement within a manufacturing environment and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
A good faith estimate of the salary range for this position is 60,000 to 75,000 dollars annually. This position is exempt for purposes of overtime reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing activities using the ANITA system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain and monitor inventory levels using established min/max parameters to support production needs.
- Ensure on-time delivery of materials and components to meet manufacturing schedules.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to resolve supply issues and improve processes.
- Analyze purchasing data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Contribute positively to the team environment with a can-do attitude and energetic presence.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in a purchasing or buyer role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems; experience with ANITA is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
