Here are some responsibilities for the potential Painter:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer where necessary.
• Apply paint, stain, & other finishes to a wide range of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, and trims.
• Ensure accurate color matching and consistent application to maintain a uniform and high-quality appearance throughout the community.
• Identify and address surface defects, cracks, or damage before painting, and perform minor repairs when needed.
• Manage and maintain painting tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets our quality standards and the community’s aesthetic requirements.
• Collaborate with property manager and maintenance teams to coordinate painting projects and prioritize work orders.
• Maintain accurate records of paint usage, color specifications, and maintenance tasks for reporting purposes.

As the ideal candidate, your background includes:

• Bring your high energy and positive attitude to contribute to an awesome team atmosphere!
• Completion of high school/GED or specialized vocational training preferred
• 2 years of Painter experience or related experience is preferred.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
• Ability to maintain a friendly, professional attitude with prospects and residents.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot equipment.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other staff, vendors, contractors, and residents.
• Organized and detail-oriented with a strong level of accuracy and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines while following all safety requirements.
• High level of integrity; ability to handle confidential resident information.
• Ability to work overtime, as well as a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must have a valid Driver's License, current automobile insurance and reliable transportation. .
