Position Purpose & Focus
As the Director of Retirement Plan Services, you will assist plan sponsors with the administration of their retirement plans and act as a liaison between the plan and third-party providers. This individual plays a pivotal role in developing strategies, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring the effective administration of retirement plans. Possesses excellent working knowledge of related subject matter and handles complex issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responds directly to client inquires and questions
- Manages top client relationships
- Handles prospect due diligence and onboarding of new business
- Manages all M&A activity and plan transfers
- Provides on-going guidance and support to participants
- Prepares an annual investment review and runs quarterly screen
- Conducts investment reviews and provides investment recommendations
- Conducts education and enrollment meetings
- Prepares presentations and information for retirement plan education and communication
- Advises on plan design, annual compliance, regulation and guidelines
- Audit guidance
- Manages top client relationships
- Lead and mentor a team of retirement plan specialists, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development
- Advises on compliance regulations and guidelines
- Assists with the onboarding of new business and plan transfers
