What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at Bryson?
The Property & Casualty Account Manager will take ownership of approximately 70 local and national accounts. You will work with a group of assigned clients, manage the day-to-day, build relationships, and make an impact by providing an extraordinary level of service, supporting ongoing and long-term client relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Stay informed in insurance technical knowledge, market trends, agency automation, company information, and other operating techniques
• Manage ongoing client service relationship
• Maintain open and clear communication channels with clients, insurance carriers, and internal partners
• Develop connections beyond the producer’s relationship with the key decision makers in book of business
• Identify problems, summarize, and develop strategic solutions
• Follow-up with carriers and wholesalers to secure quotations and misc. data by set deadline
• Communicate due dates, timelines, and expectations to clients and partners
• Prepare ACORD Forms and specific marketing applications through communication with producer and prospect/client
• Collect loss history from carriers and prospect/client
• Submit ACORD Form data, specific marketing applications, and loss history information to insurance carriers and wholesalers via email or carrier website/portal
• Follow-up with prospects and clients to secure additional underwriting data or misc. info
• Prepare proposals for new business and client renewals
• Review proposals with prospects and clients by phone or in-person based on client needs
• Monthly or quarterly communication with key referral contacts
• Make sure the client is aware of all resources Bryson offers
Qualifications:
• High level of technical insurance knowledge
• An active California State Property & Casualty License
• 5 years of Insurance Account Management & Servicing
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
• Sound professional and personal judgment
• Polished interpersonal skills
• Ability to work at a fast pace, handle changing priorities, and have the highest level of confidentiality and discretion

• Organized with excellent verbal and communication skills
• Computer proficient with excellent technological skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to easily adopt and work with all software platforms used at Bryson, namely Applied EPIC

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
