Duties
- Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues, including water leaks, clogged drains, and faulty fixtures using hand tools, power tools, and plumbing inspection cameras.
- Perform drain cleaning, pipe replacement, and system maintenance to ensure optimal water flow and system integrity.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately install or modify plumbing systems in accordance with local building codes.
- Operate company vehicles safely to reach job sites promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct plumbing inspections using specialized cameras to identify issues within hidden or hard-to-reach pipes.
- Assist with remodeling projects by assembling fixtures, installing new water systems, and performing general handyman tasks related to plumbing.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, including heavy lifting protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on residential plumbing projects.
- Hands-on experience with drain cleaning tools, plumbing inspection cameras, and power tools.
- Knowledge of local building codes related to residential plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with commercial plumbing practices is a plus but not required.
- Strong understanding of water systems maintenance, repair procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in confined spaces; comfortable working on construction sites in various conditions.
