We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RN Weekend Supervisor to lead our nursing team during weekend shifts.

Duties
- Supervise and coordinate nursing activities during weekend shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care across all departments.
- Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage staffing schedules, assign duties, and provide mentorship to nursing staff, including RNs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for diverse patient populations, including those with dementia, behavioral health needs, or long-term disabilities.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, sterile processing standards, and aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheterization or IV insertion.
- Oversee medication administration, IV infusion therapy, tube feeding management, and ventilator care while maintaining safety standards.
- Facilitate communication with physicians regarding patient status updates, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment plans using EMR Point Click Care.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in good standing with current state registration.
- Proven supervisory or team management experience within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation practices.
- Experience working with EMR Point Click Care.
- Competency in patient assessment techniques including vital signs measurement and physical examinations.
- Ability to handle complex cases involving ventilator management, spinal taps, cardiac catheterization procedures or neonatal ventilators if applicable.
- Excellent leadership skills with supervising experience in nursing teams; ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe environment.
