Bryn Mawr College has an opening for an Accounts Payable (AP) Coordinator in the Controller’s Office.
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Assistant Controller. the AP Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient processing of financial transactions, maintaining sound accounting procedures and practices, and balancing effective compliance with excellent customer service. Specific responsibilities will include the weekly processing of payments, performing general maintenance of accounts payable, credit card and e-procurement systems, including testing for upgrades and new processes. Handle AP vouchers including fellowships, awards & prizes, student account refunds, multiple types of reimbursements, voids & reissues, direct debit payments on third party websites, recurring and departmental invoices. Identify, calculate and process any local, state or federal taxes, reconcile voucher input, print multiple payment types, distribute payments, run necessary reports, post to general ledger, filing.
Requirements include a minimum of 5 years of general office experience with a minimum of 3 years in accounts payable; General knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, Knowledge of and experience with accounting information and ERP systems. An associate degree or higher is preferred.
