Description:Bryn Mawr Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Chicago, IL, has an immediate opening for Dietary Aides to do Serving, Prepping and Dishwasher. Days vary and every other weekend required.Rate is $18.00 per hour. This is a Union position so Union dues will be required. To learn more about our facility, go to our website at www.brynmawrcare.comResponsibilities of the Dishwasher:Scrape, wash and rack soiled dishes and utensilsEnsure dish machine equipment is washing and appropriately sanitizing dishes and utensilsSort and stack clean dishes, cutlery and utensils and place in proper storage placeKeep temperature and chemical logs and report any issues to Food Service SupervisorServe on tray line when assigned, placing food on residents' traysWhen assigned, help in preparing dessert, bagging bread and wrapping silverwareAssure all equipment is cleaned and prepared for the next shiftOther duties as assigned or listed on job descriptionIND3Requirements:Requirements of the Dishwasher· Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine, repetitive job duties· Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner· Must be capable of following written and oral instructions· Must be able to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment and maintain the appearance of the kitchen areas· Be personable with residents, families and staff and act professionally and be cooperative· Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for residentsMUST BE DEEMED ELIGIBLE BY IDPH TO WORK IN HEALTHCARE.
