What You'll Do
Oversee and advance infection prevention and control practices throughout the hospital
- Manage employee health services, including immunizations, exposure follow-up, health assessments, and compliance monitoring
- Investigate infectious disease exposures and outbreaks
- Educate and support staff on best practices for workplace safety and infection prevention
- Develop policies, lead committees, conduct surveillance, and help ensure regulatory readiness
- Collaborate with nursing leadership, medical staff, Human Resources, Quality Improvement, and Environmental Services teams
What We're Looking For
- Current NYS RN License
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required (Master's preferred)
- Current BLS Certification
- 5 years of Occupational Health, Employee Health, Infection Prevention, or related nursing experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
