Director of Business Development and Marketing

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Director of Business Development & Marketing to lead our sales and marketing strategy, drive revenue growth, and expand our presence throughout New England and beyond. This is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing initiatives that attract new clients, strengthen our brand, and support the company's long-term strategic objectives.

As a nationally recognized Managed Services Provider (MSP), we are committed to exceptional client service, innovation, and operational excellence. The Director of Business Development & Marketing will play a critical role in shaping the next chapter of our growth.

This position pays a base salary plus commission.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and acquire new clients.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, events, prospecting, and marketing campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, business partners, and community organizations.
• Present technology solutions and consult with business leaders to understand their needs.
• Oversee sales processes, proposal development, contract administration, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
• Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast future opportunities.

Marketing & Brand Leadership

• Develop and implement marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and lead generation.
• Oversee digital marketing, website content, social media, email campaigns, and promotional activities.
• Coordinate attendance and participation in networking events, trade shows, and community activities.
• Enhance the company's reputation through strategic communication and thought leadership initiatives.
• Measure marketing effectiveness and adjust strategies based on performance metrics.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor business development and marketing team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and technical teams to ensure client expectations, service commitments, and business objectives are achieved.
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to organizational growth initiatives.
• Monitor budgets and revenue performance while identifying opportunities for growth and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of sales and marketing experience.
• Previous experience in the Managed Services Provider (MSP) industry required.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience.
• Proven track record of developing business opportunities and achieving revenue growth.
• Strong strategic thinking, business planning, and organizational leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience with CRM, proposal management, and marketing platforms. Knowledge of ConnectWise, QuoteWerks, Kaseya, WordPress, or similar systems is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed for client and business development activities.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
