Essential Functions
The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this role, the employee will regularly communicate verbally and in writing, and must be able to see and hear in a typical office setting. The role frequently involves sitting, walking, standing, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with arms and hands.
Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment. It routinely involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, and filing systems. Occasional business travel may be required.

This position has a base salary commission structure.
Essential Functions
- Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business opportunities within the aftermarket segment
- Identify, qualify, and pursue leads through proactive outreach and networking
- Drive the entire sales process from prospecting and site walks to proposal generation, negotiation and closing
- Act as a trusted advisor to build long-term client relationships and sell recurring revenue contracts (RMR), ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Help clients transition from basic, standalone products to fully interconnected, enterprise-level security networks
- Partner with the Engineering Team on System Design and Estimation to include interpreting architectural blueprints, network infrastructure diagrams and security codes to design accurate, profitable solutions
- Collaborate with internal project teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery
- Address and resolve customer concerns or issues throughout the sales process
- Maintain accurate and detailed activity notes, such as daily calls logs, results reports, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual territory analysis to be reviewed periodically with manager
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, products, and manufacturers to effectively position solutions
- Achieve and exceed structured sales goals and performance metrics
- All other duties as assigned
- 3–5 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in the security integration industry
- Technical knowledge of systems such as access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related hardware
- Familiarity with major security system manufacturers and solutions
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, pipeline management, and closing sales
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
- Self-starter with a high level of motivation and accountability
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong Customer Relations skills
- Strong Verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including mainframe programs and Microsoft Office Suit
- Must have good attention to details and strong organizational skills
- Ability to be persuasive and influential in verbal and written communications
- Working knowledge of Door Hardware, Locks and Access Control
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong sales and phone skills are a must. Able to solve problems and resolve inquiries both internally and externally. Supports the sales cycle in full and is able to act independently. Highly motivated and personable presence essential and must be able to meet quotas and sale initiatives.
