Role Description
We are seeking a Front-End WordPress Developer for a full-time, on-site position based in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites with a focus on creating engaging and user-friendly experiences. Day-to-day tasks include responsive web design, front-end theme customization, implementing web designs, and collaborating with team members to meet project goals. You will also integrate back-end functionality and troubleshoot any technical issues.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design
- At least 3 years of WordPress experience, including theme customization and plugin optimization
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development to integrate and customize WordPress functionality
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach
- Understanding of web performance optimization and SEO-friendly practices
- Familiarity with popular programming languages and tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
