Position Summary
The System Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will play a critical role in advancing the College’s financial strategy and operational decision-making. This individual will lead the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes that support the institution’s mission and long-term sustainability. Working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, this individual will provide financial insights, develop tools for data-driven decisions, and partner with leadership across academic and administrative areas.
Key Responsibilities
$125,000 – 160,000 per year.
This is an exempt position.

Physical Demands And Work Environment
Position requires standing or sitting in a stationary position as well as the occasional need to lift, carry, push, and/or move objects up to 10 pounds.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the College’s annual operating and capital budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy, alignment with strategic goals, and broad stakeholder engagement.
- Manage multi-year financial planning and forecasting to support long-term institutional sustainability.
- Support the College’s Online Education operations as the primary financial resource supporting the Vice President of Online.
- Provide in-depth financial analyses to evaluate initiatives, academic programs, capital projects, and operational efficiencies.
- Partner with leaders across academic and administrative units to provide guidance and ensure resource alignment.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and proactively recommend corrective actions or opportunities.
- Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and service within the finance organization.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field required; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
- 9 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, with at least 3 years in a senior-level role.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into accessible information.
- Ability to work effectively in a flat organizational structure, building partnerships and influencing without heavy hierarchy.
- Experience with higher education finance desirable.
