Well established company residential home services company working with customers in the San Gabriel Valley. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized and discreet Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. We are dedicated to maintaining financial accuracy and integrity, and we’re seeking a motivated individual who can oversee the finances and administration, and provide support to our team that is providing exceptional service for our customers. Some remote work may be possible, but some tasks must be done in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and process payroll
- Maintain employee confidential files
- Oversee employee benefits
- Manage bank and credit card reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing deadlines
- Prepare insurance audits
- Liaison with CPA
- Cash Management
- Fleet tracking, licensing, and registrations
- Other general bookkeeping tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Must have proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks is a must)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred:
- Previous experience with payroll processing
- Experience working in home services business
Work Schedule:
- Flexible hours, approximately 20-25 hours per week
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
