SUMMARY:
The Junior Site/Civil Engineer will be a key member of the Bryant Engineering Team in our Louisville, KY office, where he/she will perform design calculations, analysis and plan preparation and utilizing graphic software in support of the successful completion of assigned projects for a wide range of public and private sector clients.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Junior Site/Civil Engineer will assist Project Manager with the planning and design of assigned projects that meet technical requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
- Work on design teams in all aspects of given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans that meet client specs and exceed client expectations
- Perform quantity estimates, detailing and check calculations and develop design drawings
- Conduct code research and write specifications
- Supports Project Manager on other tasks as assigned/needed
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- Ability to work on multiple project assignments concurrently

- Works in a timely fashion to meet project budgets and deadlines
- Desire to work in a team environment
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Previous experience working in a consulting engineering environment a plus
- Successful passing of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (E.I.T.) a plus
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Proficient in AutoCad® Civil 3D®
- Proficient in Microstation® and OpenRoads®
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

TRAVEL:
Travel to job sites and client meetings as required thru out the state.
