Job Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for executing full‑cycle recruitment activities to support hiring needs across the organization. This role focuses on posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, maintaining applicant tracking workflows, and providing timely communication throughout the hiring process. The Recruiter ensures a positive candidate experience and supports hiring managers with day‑to‑day recruiting tasks, while maintaining compliance and accurate records.
Essential Functions

- Facilitate all phases of the recruiting process, ensuring timely communication and consistent movement of candidates through the hiring workflow.
- Partner with hiring managers to gather job requirements, prepare postings, and ensure accurate and compelling position descriptions.
- Coordinate job postings and advertising across approved platforms, ensuring postings are accurate and updated as needed.
- Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, email outreach, cold sourcing, and direct networking.
- Review applications, screen candidates for qualifications, and select individuals for interview consideration.
- Schedule and conduct initial interviews, prepare interview questions when needed, and support hiring managers with interview logistics.
- Collect interviewer feedback and maintain consistent candidate communication throughout all stages of the hiring process.
- Support hiring managers and HR leadership with offer preparation by providing candidate insights and coordinating finals steps.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for college recruiting and the internship program, including coordinating campus outreach, managing relationships with academic partners, conducting interviews, overseeing the intern experience, and monitoring program performance against goals.
- Follow applicant tracking system (ATS) workflows, ensuring accurate documentation, candidate progression, data integrity, and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Execute all pre-employment requirements and manage the pre-hire candidate experience through onboarding handoff.
- Maintain organized and accurate recruitment records, screening notes, and candidate files.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, working inside with others or independently. This position requires the ability to manage multiple recruitment priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Expected Hours of Work/Travel
This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule during regular business hours. Occasional travel may be required for college recruiting, job fairs, or other hiring-related activities.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
- Experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator/Recruiter or equivalent
- Experience with talent acquisition systems, HRIS, sourcing tools, and LinkedIn recruitment tactics
- Experience in construction or related industry
- Spanish bi-lingual
**Drug Screen and Background Investigation Required**
Salary Range: $30-$36/hour
