The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. This role involves working closely with students, parents, and staff to provide tailored instructional strategies and support. For the upcoming school year the responsibilities of this position will center around supporting identified students in the gen ed classroom Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Support: Implement high-impact intervention strategies in both push-in and pull-out settings.Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers, families, and administration to create a seamless support network.Data & Compliance: Process and maintain a data-driven approach to track student progress and adjust interventions.Advocacy: Navigate and manage the components of special education services, ensuring all legal and educational standards are upheld.What We're Looking ForExpertise: A strong background in special education and a deep understanding of the MTSS process.Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.Energy: A proactive, "can-do" attitude that inspires students to reach their full potential.Credentials: Applicants must hold (or be able to obtain) the appropriate state certification/licensure for an Intervention Specialist.Internal applicants must apply no later than the close of business on Friday, April 10, 2026.
