Upholstery Trainee

OFS, Leitchfield, KY, is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals interested in learning to upholster through hands-on experience and mentorship. As an upholstery trainee, you will be trained in all aspects of upholstery. This role is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong interest in learning a skilled trade and who values attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• You will be trained on the following:
• Perform upholstery tasks including fabric trimming, and attaching material to furniture frames.
• Inspect materials for defects and ensure quality control throughout the upholstery process.
• Operate upholstery tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  

Requirements

• Strong interest and willingness to learn a highly-skilled, in-demand trade
• Basic experience with hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
