What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Layer position at Bryan and Sons Lawn and Landscape, LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Digging
- Installing and assembling underground pipe systems for water, sewer, and drains.
- Seal joints
- Inspect places where pipes are fitted together to ensure pipes are spaced properly.
- Must be able to set up laser and shoot gredes.
Qualifications:
- Experience laying pipe systems.
- Experience working in a team environment
- Able to lift and move over 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing etc.
- Check slopes utilizing lasers, grade rods, and transit levels to verify the pipe is installed with the correct slope for water flow.
- Cut pipes to the required lengths using saws or other tools.
- Seal joints.
Environment:
- Work is performed outside, sometimes wet, environments.
- Employee must be subject to changes in weather.
- Minor heights.
- Non-hazardous chemicals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
