Bryan & Sons Lawn and Landscape, LLC is currently looking for qualified Excavator Operator with GPS experience.

Job Site: Sussex County, DE (Millville and Frankford)

Equipment Operated May Include:

• Komatsu 290i, 360i
• GPS experience a MUST

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections in a safe and effective manner.
• Operate and monitor equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Ensure worksite is safe prior to start of shift.
• Inspect PPE equipment and wear at all times.
• Willingness to work as needed, including heavy labor and cleaning via shovel or equipment.
• Follow safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and OSHA.
• Follow company policies, local, state and federal regulations for safe working procedures.
• Responsible for overall housekeeping of equipment and site.
• Must be willing to commute on the Eastern Shore (Maryland and Delaware).
• Willingly attend and support Foreman/Superintendent during huddles and ToolBox Talks.
• Other duties as assigned by Foreman or superintendent.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to pass drug screen.
• 5 years of operating equipment with and without GPS.
• Experience with GPS Excavator and Dozer.
• Regular, reliable, maintain 95% attendance.
• Maintain a positive work environment.

Physical Qualifications:

• Able to lift or move up to 50lbs.
• Repeatedly climb, bend from the truck, crawl, kneel, push and pull.
• Repeatedly reach, squat, and tolerate prolonged standing, walking or sitting.
• Able to maintain balance when walking in uneven surfaces.

Environment:

• Work is performed outside, sometimes wet, environments.
• Employee must be subject to changes in weather.
• Minor heights.
• Non-hazardous chemicals.
