Front of House (FOH) duties include but are not limited to:

• Be in tune with Bruxie’s culture, missions and values everyday
• Approaches guest questions and requests professionally and in a friendly manner
• Maintains friendly, helpful, positive attitude
• Thorough knowledge of call cashier duties and responsibilities
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Assisting the kitchen fulfill orders
• Can multitask and prioritize duties to benefit Bruxie’s service standards
• Working in a fast paced environment
• Lifting up to 20lbs
• Standing for long periods of time
• Collaborate with other team members in tasks to insure overall guest satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and handle cash transactions with precision
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including assembling menu items and maintaining food safety standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize revenue opportunities through friendly suggestions
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to sanitation protocols
• Support food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met at all times
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and efficiently

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
• Ability to perform food preparation and basic cooking tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Experience with cashiering, upselling, and sales techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order accuracy
• Previous restaurant or café experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key
