Field Operations Specialist - Funeral Services

We are seeking a full-time Field Operations Specialist to support our Funeral Service Division. This hands-on role involves the preparation, transport, and installation of burial vaults and graveside equipment at cemeteries. The ideal candidate is reliable, respectful, physically capable, and committed to providing dignified service in support of funeral homes and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare burial vaults and related products for delivery.
• Transport burial vaults to cemeteries for interment using company vehicles.
• When permitted by the cemetery:
• Prepare gravesites for vault installation.
• Set up graveside service equipment (e.g., tents, greens, chairs).
• Assist and support funeral home staff during services.
• Set and seal vaults with care and precision.
• Remove and properly store equipment after services.
• Cooperate with cemetery personnel and provide assistance when applicable.
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and appearance.
• Represent the company with professionalism and empathy in sensitive environments.

Qualifications

• Valid chauffeur’s license required; CDL preferred.
• Ability to pass a Michigan DOT physical and drug test is required for employment.
• Must maintain a valid Michigan DOT medical card.
• Physically able to lift and move heavy equipment and work in outdoor conditions year-round.
• Comfortable working in cemeteries and around funeral services.
• Dependable, professional, and respectful demeanor.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
