We are hiring a Sommelier at BRUTØ.

Brutalism is a design language, but it's also our approach to hospitality: strip away the unnecessary, honor the materials, and let intention speak louder than ornament. Our wine program follows the same ethos. We highlight producers with clarity of purpose, transparent farming, and wines that carry an honest sense of place.

We're looking for someone who can help us share those stories with our guests and who wants to be part of a team that works as one. At BRUTØ, wine leads are embedded in every part of service: running food, greeting guests, assisting with pairings, supporting the bar, and being part of the rhythm of the room.

The ideal candidates fit the following criteria:

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about wine and beverage trends, wine and beverage pairing, and people
  • Excellent understanding of hospitality etiquette
  • Ability to understand and execute the proper steps of service
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to fast-paced environments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
  • 3 years sommelier experience
