Entry to Mid-Level 2-5 years
Shift: Mon-Fri 6am-4pm with some weekend work as needed. As we catch up, hours per day may reduce closer to 8hrs.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections on standard and routine processes, parts, and assembled tools. This role ensures all products meet required quality, safety, efficiency, and reliability standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical inspection skills, good documentation habits, and the ability to identify and report non‑conformances accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality evaluations on products and processes using engineering drawings, specifications, and established procedures
- Inspect various production and assembly activities to ensure compliance with standards
- Identify and report non‑conformances using appropriate measuring and testing methods
- Generate clear and accurate inspection reports
- Notify Operations and QA/QC management of significant issues or defects
- Complete all required documentation for inspection and test activities
- May perform final adjustments on parts or assemblies
- May conduct Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT)
- Initiate and process non‑conformance reports (NCRs)
- Ensure all products and processes meet required quality and reliability levels
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in inspection, manufacturing, or related industry
- Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality, Inspection, or related industrial work
- Experience reading engineering drawings and using precision measurement tools
- Familiarity with non‑destructive testing methods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Preferred Certifications
- NDE Certification – ACC Level 2 (or equivalent Level II such as ASNT or ISO 9712)
- Experience with MT and PT is a plus.
