GENERAL OVERVIEW |
|
|
Under the direction of the Principal and the Child Nutrition Program Coordinator, the School Food Service Cafeteria Manager plans, coordinates and directs the cooking and serving of student and teacher meals at the school site, and is responsible for related functions and cafeteria safety. The School Food Service Manager supervises the School Food Service Technicians. |

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES |

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
|
|
High School Diploma or GED; supplemented by three (3) years of work experience in the preparation of food with at least one (1) year in a supervisory position or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Must complete a CPR course and School Food Service Manager Certification.
|
|
|
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The School Food Services Manager must be able to perform these physical activities: standing, walking, reaching bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
