The Practice
Brush Pediatric Dentistry is one of the most respected pediatric practices in the Chicago area, with locations in Hinsdale and Downers Grove. We're led by Dr. Mira Albert, a National Spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Dr. Maggie Rizzo, who runs our Downers Grove team. We're growing, and we're looking for someone spectacular to grow with us.
The Job
No dental experience? Good. We're not hiring for what you already know how to do in a dental office, we're hiring for who you are, and we'll teach you the rest. Some of our best dental assistants started somewhere completely different: folding sweaters at Nordstrom, pulling espresso shots, working the front desk at a salon, coaching a rec league. If you've ever turned a stranger's bad day around just by being yourself, you already have the most important skill for this job.
What We're Looking For
Off the clock, you might be someone who bakes, gardens, coaches a kids' team, or plays an instrument badly but enthusiastically. The best dental assistants we've hired tend to love hobbies that take patience, creativity, and a steady hand. The experience that actually matters here might be that you babysat for years, coached Little League, worked a summer at camp or in a daycare, or you're just the person every kid in your extended family runs to first. That's pediatric experience, and it counts more than you'd think.
