What are the responsibilities and job description for the Horizons Program - Summer School Bus Driver position at BRUNSWICK SCHOOL INC?
Horizons is seeking a school-bus driver who has his/her air-brake certification to transport students to and from school and other sites within designated routes – and to ensure the safety of the student passengers while in a school vehicle. This bus driver is responsible for the safe operation of a school bus and for ensuring the safety of student passengers while meeting established bus schedules.
- Conducting safety and operational inspection of assigned vehicle daily.
- Reporting needed mechanical repairs when necessary.
- Services buses with gas, diesel fuel, and oil; checks and fills tires and batteries when necessary.
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicle to ensure safe operating condition.
Must hold valid CDL with appropriate endorsement.
