See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious DOT Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This position involves daily trips within a 200-mile radius of the assigned plant, ensuring timely and secure delivery of goods to customers and vendors. Drivers return home daily—no overnight travel required. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions: Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance. Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and inspection reports. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel. Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company procedures. Report any incidents, delays, or mechanical issues promptly. Perform other duties as assigned Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred. Current DOT Medical Card. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and local/state traffic laws. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed. Ability to sit in truck for 1-2 hours at a time Ability to climb ladder (3) steps to get in truck Climb ladder on back of truck (4) steps to get into box Lift gate of box truck to open and close approx. 30#’s Lift dock gate manually; chain you pull to lift approx. 30# of pull Install load bars 30# - helps keep load stable while truck is moving Excellent time management and communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent. The anticipated pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context. Physical Demands/Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing and lifting heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds. The employee is constantly walking, pushing/pulling, reaching, and climbing stairs. The employee is occasionally squatting, kneeling, and using fine hand movements such as tightening screws, bolts, and securing pins. Specific vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
