JOB SUMMARY:
Under the guidance and direction of the Medical Director the Nurse Practitioner performs various tasks utilizing knowledge of his/her profession. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the efficient, quality driven management (care, personnel, and practice) of assigned units/areas. The Nurse Practitioner is also responsible for providing hospital wide clinical and administrative supervision. Function as part of the Admissions team.______________________
EDUCATION REQUIRED
BSN, NYS RN and NP License
EXPERIENCE AND/OR SKILLS REQUIRED
Supervisory experience in an in-patient psychiatric facility preferred. Knowledge of discharge planning and full-range of providing psychosocial service.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Current New York State License/Registration RN/Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry, BSN
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
