Brunswick High School is seeking a passionate, high-energy Physical Education Teacher to join our faculty for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. An ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering a specialized curriculum that includes yoga, racquet sports, and a rotation of traditional spring and fall games.
Responsibilities
- Create an engaging, communicative classroom environment
- Adapt and develop curriculum to meet student needs and program goals
- Use technology effectively to enhance learning and student engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to a supportive professional learning community
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching grades 9–12
- Ability to teach a variety of physical education courses
- Experience integrating technology
Required Qualifications
- Valid State of Maine Department of Education certification in Physical Education/Health
- Valid State of Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) authorization
