Substitute School Nurse

QUALIFICATIONS:

Licensing/Certification:

• Valid North Carolina driver’s license at the time of hire
• Be a registered nurse with at least 2 years of experience as a nurse in a hospital or health clinic or
• Be certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the National Board for Certification of School Nurses
• Certification by the American Nurses’ Association (ANA) or the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) preferred
• Completion of training necessary for licensing as a registered nurse

Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
