ReStore Manager
Location: Leland, NC
Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday 7:30am - 4pm
Full-time | Weekends & Some Evenings Required
About Us:
Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity is part of a global nonprofit housing organization working to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Our ReStore is a home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, home décor, and building materials to fund our efforts to create affordable housing locally.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage store revenue, including cash handling, deposit reconciliation, and bank deposits. Ensure compliance with all financial reporting practices.
- Promote donations, drive sales, and ensure profits of the ReStore to provide sustainable funding to support Habitat’s mission.
- Oversee scheduling of all store activities, including staff, volunteer, and truck schedules.
- Hire and train Restore staff to deliver a high-quality, consistent customer service experience in the Restore, and ensure issues are professionally resolved and reported on a timely basis; establish annual performance goals for each, and monitor performance results, formally reporting annually.
- Lead day-to-day store operations, ensuring goals and budgets are met.
- Cultivate a positive team and customer experience.
- Manage inventory, pricing, merchandising, and loss prevention strategies.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and mission-aligned store environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in retail or nonprofit.
- Strong team-building and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently (occasionally up to 100 lbs).
- Comfortable with hands-on, physically active work in varied environments.
- Committed to the mission of Habitat for Humanity.
- Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, email).
