RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleaning - Washing the exterior of the vehicle, including windows and door jambs, and vacuuming the interior
- Polishing - Applying waxes, polishes, and protective agents to the exterior of the vehicle
- Treating - Shampooing and deodorizing the interior seats and floors, and treating fabric surfaces with stain-resistant chemicals
- Inspecting - Checking the vehicle for damage or imperfections, and documenting the condition in reports and photos
- Maintaining - Keeping detailing equipment and supplies in good working order, and ordering new supplies when needed
- Communicating - Collaborating with service advisors to meet customer expectations, and handling customer inquiries
- Transporting - Driving cars to and from customer locations
- Safety - Adhering to safety standards and using eye and hand protection
Car detailing can be physically demanding, as it requires standing, bending, and working in different positions for long periods. Detailers should be physically fit and able to lift moderately heavy objects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- General knowledge of automotive components preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
