Job Summary:

On a part-time basis, this Quality Inspector will provide a supporting role to the Quality Department, ensuring all returned products are sorted, dispositioned, and processed, incoming products are barcode labeled, and both the full-time Quality Inspectors and Quality Manager are assisted as needed. Those with minimal experience in a Quality setting can be trained. Those with extensive experience can assist more readily with inspection and measurement of products as needed. |

Receive, sort, and process returned products, communicating with internal departments to assist in proper disposition. Create Discrepant Material Reports (DMR’s) when supplier recourse is necessary. Log information into appropriate databases. |

Rework, scrap, or create DMR’s for products that are found defective or damaged in the Warehouse and Assembly Department. |

Apply barcode labels to all incoming products that come in without identification. |

Assist the Quality Manager with investigation of field issues, including measurement and sorting of products from the Warehouse. |

Assist the full-time Quality Inspectors with measurement and documentation of incoming products. |
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Education Level: |
High School Diploma or GED required. Some college or technical training preferred. |
