Job Overview
Brunsell Lumber & Millwork is seeking a skilled Wall Panel Designer to join our building components team in southern Wisconsin. You will create accurate wall panel layouts and designs for residential and commercial construction projects, working closely with our professional contractors and manufacturing plant in Mount Horeb.
REMOTE WORK is possible for the right candidate.
Job Duties
- Design and layout manufactured wood-framed wall panel systems using structural design software.
- Review architectural and structural blueprints to ensure accuracy and structural integrity.
- Generate production-ready placement diagrams and material cut lists for our component plant.
- Coordinate smoothly with sales teams, project managers, and plant assemblers.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience in construction wall panel design or component manufacturing.
- 3 years experience with MiTek Sapphire is preferred.
- Strong math, spatial reasoning, and blueprint reading skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication abilities.
