Maintenance Supervisor
Brunner & Lay, a family-owned American manufacturer of construction and mining tools, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. You will lead the maintenance team and support day-to-day plant needs to keep production equipment and facility systems operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Complete daily and weekly facility and equipment inspections.
Assign work orders and direct maintenance staff to resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
Troubleshoot equipment problems and identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce downtime.
Oversee preventive maintenance, routine calibration, and repair work on plant equipment, including CNC machinery.
Coordinate the removal of obsolete equipment and support the installation and startup of new machinery.
Provide technical guidance to the maintenance team to support safe, efficient use of time and materials.
Assess facility and equipment risks and identify hazards that require corrective action.
Maintain and update preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
Enforce plant safety policies and safe work practices.
Monitor parts inventory and submit requests for needed materials or components.
Support general facility upkeep to maintain a clean and organized plant.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and provide routine updates to management.
Qualifications
Technical training or degree in mechanical or electrical fields preferred.
At least three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including CNC operation or repair.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read electrical ladder diagrams, trace and repair electrical circuits, work with relay logic, and troubleshoot PLC-based systems.
Experience with facility maintenance and general safety practices.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to direct a small team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
