- Drill steels and carbide-tipped bits used for drilling blast holes in quarries, mines, and large construction projects
- Concrete breaker steels for use by general construction trades
- Demolition tools utilized in mining and construction
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Professional to manage our Northeast U.S. territory, covering New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Maine, and Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent company products to distribution partners and key direct sales accounts
- Execute territory sales strategies in alignment with overall company objectives
- Provide ongoing education and product support to customers
- Develop a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the territory
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies and processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, contacts, and reports
- Deliver timely sales forecasts, account plans, and market feedback to leadership
- Represent the company at regional trade shows and industry events
- Work collaboratively with the National Sales Manager on regional strategy and business development
- Handle objections, resolve customer issues, and follow through on commitments
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience (mining, construction, or demolition experience highly preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience
- Strong ability to assess market needs, collect data, and draw actionable insights
- Comfortable engaging with owners and executives of distribution businesses
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Effective negotiator and problem-solver
- Team-oriented and highly organized with exceptional follow-through
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
- Must reside within the assigned territory
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%
- Must pass post-offer background and drug screen
