Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation equipment, boilers, and refrigeration systems according to schematics and HVAC design specifications
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and building automation system layouts to accurately install or service equipment
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical diagnostics for HVAC/R systems
- Repair plumbing components associated with HVAC systems and ensure proper integration with mechanical systems
- Conduct welding or mechanical repairs as needed on equipment or ductwork to maintain system integrity
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance reports
Experience
- Proven construction experience with familiarity in installing HVAC or mechanical systems in commercial or residential settings
- Service technician experience working on HVAC/R equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, boilers, or property maintenance
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, welding, and building automation systems is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration or other specialized refrigerants is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance of complex mechanical systems.
- Experience operating tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment; familiarity with field service operations is preferred
