Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planner Scheduler to support a large-scale data center construction program. This individual will own schedule development, integration, forecasting, risk analysis, and schedule governance across multiple project workstreams. This role is ideal for someone who can ramp up a project, implement robust scheduling processes, and provide the structure needed to keep complex programs on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and scheduling activities for a large-scale data center construction program.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Establish scheduling standards, controls, and reporting processes where formal procedures may not yet exist.
- Drive schedule development across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Coordinate directly with project management, engineering, construction, contractors, and stakeholders to align execution plans.
- Identify critical path impacts, schedule risks, resource constraints, and recovery opportunities.
- Perform schedule analysis, forecasting, what-if scenarios, and mitigation planning.
- Validate field progress and project performance utilizing Doxel and Procore.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings and provide actionable recommendations to project leadership.
- Lead schedule integration across multiple contractors, disciplines, and work packages.
- Mentor and guide junior planners and schedulers as required.
- Drive accountability for schedule performance rather than simply reporting project status.
Required Qualifications:
- 20-25 years of experience as a Planner Scheduler supporting large capital construction projects
- Experience administering Primavera P6
- Hands-on experience with Doxel and Procore (construction softwares)
- Industrial construction experience supporting large CAPEX projects (working on major industrial facilities or expansions that involve large investments)
- Demonstrated experience leading planning and scheduling efforts on complex programs or project portfolios
- Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning workflows
- Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, unstructured project environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Data center construction projects.
- EPC, Owner's Representative, or large industrial construction environments.
- Experience building scheduling processes and governance frameworks from the ground up.
- Multi-project or portfolio-level planning and scheduling leadership.
