A leading energy infrastructure organization is seeking an experienced SAP Scheduler to support maintenance planning and scheduling activities. This role plays a critical function in ensuring that routine and non-routine maintenance activities are executed efficiently, on schedule, and in alignment with operational requirements.
This is a long-term contract opportunity ideal for professionals with a strong background in SAP PM and maintenance coordination in industrial or energy environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules using SAP.
- Convert notifications into work orders, plan labor and materials, and align with plant priorities and constraints.
- Coordinate resources, permits, and parts to ensure readiness for scheduled maintenance.
- Monitor progress of scheduled work, resolve conflicts, and update schedules as needed.
- Support weekly and long-range maintenance planning cycles.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards throughout all scheduling activities.
- Maintain accurate SAP records for work order status, equipment history, and backlog reporting.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Scheduler or Maintenance Planner in industrial or energy sectors (LNG, oil & gas, refining, petrochemicals, etc.)
- Strong SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module experience required.
- Familiarity with preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to liaise between operations, maintenance, and contractors.
- Ability to work onsite
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience supporting LNG facilities or similar complex process environments.
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices, reliability programs, and turnarounds.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
