Electrical Planner

Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Electrical Planners to support maintenance activities at a large industrial LNG facility in Sabine Pass, Texas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical maintenance background and previous hands-on experience as an Electrician or Electrical Technician before transitioning into a planning role. This position will focus on planning electrical maintenance work, coordinating materials and resources, and supporting the execution of safe and efficient maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate electrical maintenance, repair, and improvement work.
- Develop detailed job plans, including labor requirements, materials, tools, equipment, and estimated durations.
- Review work orders and create effective work packages for electrical maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with maintenance, operations, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure work is properly planned and ready for execution.
- Identify and coordinate the materials and parts required for planned work.
- Support the procurement process by ensuring materials and equipment are identified and available when needed.
- Maintain and manage maintenance plans, work orders, and related documentation in SAP.
- Prioritize upcoming work and support maintenance scheduling activities.
- Review job plans and historical work information to improve future planning.
- Ensure planned work follows facility safety procedures and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in electrical maintenance planning, with 7–10 years preferred.
- Previous hands-on experience as an Electrician or Electrical Technician before moving into a planning role.
- Experience with electrical systems up to 480V.
- Strong SAP experience, including work order management and maintenance planning.
- Good understanding of maintenance materials, spare parts, and the procurement process.
- Experience planning electrical work in an industrial environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly for an industrial facility or plant.
- Background in LNG, oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, refining, power generation, or other large industrial environments.
- Previous experience supporting maintenance activities at an operating facility.
- Experience working with maintenance planning and scheduling teams.
Additional Information
This is a long-term contract opportunity based in Sabine Pass, Texas. The initial contract is for one year and is expected to be renewable, with a minimum anticipated duration of two years. No per diem is available, so candidates should be local or willing to relocate to the area.
