Document Controller / Administrative Support
Location: Nederland, TX (Beaumont area – on-site)
Duration: Approximately 11 months (initial 5-month assignment with 6-month extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (45–50 hours/week expected)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Document Controller / Administrative Support professional to support a project site team in Nederland, TX. This role will be split between document control responsibilities (approximately 60%) and administrative support (approximately 40%), assisting the CSU (Commissioning & Start-Up) team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain electronic document control records
- Upload and track CSU check records within the company’s construction management system (CMS)
- Ensure documents are accurate, complete, and properly organized
- Support the project team with document control processes
- Provide general administrative support to the site team
- Assist with office tasks and coordination as needed
- Work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 8–10 years of relevant experience
- Experience with electronic document control systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including:
- Excel (most critical)
- Word
- Teams
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
