Secondary Principal Bruneau-Grand View Joint School District #365 Location: Rimrock Junior Senior High School Start Date: 2026–2027 School Year Position Type: Full-Time School Size: Approximately 150 students ________________________________________ Position Summary Bruneau-Grand View Joint School District is seeking an energetic and student-focused Secondary Principal to lead Rimrock Junior Senior High School. The principal will provide leadership for grades 6–12 in a small, supportive rural school environment serving approximately 150 students. The successful candidate will work closely with staff, students, families, and the community to promote academic excellence, positive school culture, and strong relationships. ________________________________________ Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Provide instructional leadership and supervision of secondary staff. •Foster a positive, safe, and productive learning environment for students. •Support and evaluate teachers and staff to promote continuous improvement. •Implement district and state policies and procedures. •Monitor student achievement and support strategies to improve outcomes. •Manage student discipline and promote positive behavior supports. •Collaborate with district administration and community stakeholders. •Oversee daily school operations including scheduling, activities, and supervision. •Support extracurricular programs and school events. ________________________________________ Qualifications •Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field. •Valid Idaho Administrator Certificate or the ability to obtain one. •Successful teaching experience required. •Prior administrative or leadership experience preferred. •Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. •Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and the community. ________________________________________ Salary and Benefits •Salary: Competitive and based on district administrative salary schedule. •Opportunities may include: Small class sizes Supportive rural school community Coaching and activity involvement opportunities Day Care on site ________________________________________ About Our School Rimrock Junior Senior High School serves students in grades 6–12 and is part of Bruneau-Grand View Joint School District.
